6 weeks...

A few new pics of ZAC!

Wishing that when my hand gets into my mouth it would just stay there...

Testing out my crib...

Zac's cousins admiring him. DC and Tom were proud to have the opportunity to meet him during one of our visits to CT!

Zac's first 'little' visitor in our new home - Ella wanted to help feed him (while she wasn't declaring all of his things to be "Ella's") She loved they baby and was very good at being gentle.

Zac and Mommy!
Zac and his Great Gram (Stephen's Gram) - he was very comfortable in Gram's arms.

Zac getting to know his new swing - thanks to Mema Oranzo for the loaner...it's a saving grace!!!

Crazy how fast the time goes. Zac is now 6 weeks old and growing like a weed. He was 7 lbs. 6.5 oz. last Friday and getting longer and longer. He definitely has my height - all the rest you see is his Dad! He's a cute little guy if I say so myself. He's starting to recognize his surroundings. This morning he looked at Tucker and his eyes lit right up - almost as if he was excited. Probably more curious or confused as to why a bear is in our house...I explained that he's a dog and he lives with us.

Last week we visited CT and visited with some family and friends. We went to the pool with Anna and Paige and although we didn't take any photos it was a great time. They loved helping with Zac and just wished he was old enough to go swimming...next summer, ladies!

Everyone is doing well and enjoying the fall like weather here in the city. Dad is in Maine for the week on a 'field trip' for school. He didn't seem too excited about the sleeping accomodations they have provided, but I reminded him that a week goes by quickly. It's all about the positive attitude. :) He's already called a few times to check in on us...we miss him, but he'll be home before we know it.

dad started school...

This is how many years Daddy will be in his Landscape Architecture program - it's also how many weeks he has left in this intense Summer class. We're so proud of him!!!

The outfit says it all...very appropriate for the mood! The outfit lasted 10 minutes and then there was a blowout - hence the mood! :)

Zac loves tub time - he also loves being bundled in his towel immediately following.

It seems that anything he can latch onto he'll try - This is Zac attached to Daddy's nose hoping that some milk will come out...no luck!

hello to all! We are starting to realize what it's like when dad goes back to work...except dad in our case has returned to school. We were so very lucky to not only have Dad with us the entire time (post birth) at the hospital and then for 2 weeks prior to starting class. We all had the chance to 'bond' and Dad was a huge help around the house so no complaints from us. We are adjusting and starting to explore the city on our own. I find myself talking to the most random people while in line at Starbuck's or at the post office. It's actually pretty funny...I probably appear to be a lunatic with a child. Oh well, it's partially true! :)

A few new pics of Zac - we're heading to the pediatrician today so hoping to have put on the appropriate amount of weight...imagine going to the doctor and hoping you gained weight!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Please know that you are welcome to visit anytime - not much space to accomodate guests for overnights, but then again who wants to stay with a couple and their newborn. It's a fun city and as we explore we'll be better at giving tours!

xoxo from all of us.
