So although it is summer and I am here at Yale - you can see for yourself that my views are pretty spectacular. This picture was actually taken from my bed. That's Long Island Sound in the background and further on you can see Long Island. I'm guaranteed to have the best seats in town for the fireworks this week. I'll be able to see W. Haven on Tuesday night (7/3), New Haven on Wednesday (7/4) and perhaps even catch some of Long Island's if it's a clear night...not bad, right?

Nice view from your crib...I bet those works where fantastic. I was tempted to take the metro into Boston and catch the celebration at the half shell, but opted for a lesser crowd and stayed in Salem, where I enjoyed a nice display of color, though a tad soggy.
You have the thing about 'lifestar' and I have this thing about large crowds....could it be because all I see are elbows and backs when I stand in the midst of them...I think, yes!
